Sondha Bandham is a 2012–2015 Indian Tamil-language soap opera that aired on Sun TV.[1] The show premiered on 3 September 2012 . It aired Monday through Friday and later from 12 October its extended up to air from Monday to Saturday at 11:00AM IST. It is a remake of Telugu Language serial Mamathala Kovela that was aired on Gemini TV. The show starring by Chandra Lakshman, Bharathi and Badekkila Pradeep in lead roles.

The series was directed by Sudharsan, K. Shanmugam and K. Rajeev Prasad and was produced by Vaikhari. Sondha Bandham' ended 8 August 2015 after airing 821 episodes.

Krishnaveni (born 26 December 1924) is a veteran Telugu actress, singer and producer. She is also known as C. Krishnaveni and M. Krishnaveni.

Biography[edit]

She hails from Rajamundry in Andhra Pradesh state, India. She was a drama artist before entering into movies. Her debut was as a child artist in Sati Anasuya-Dhruva in 1936. She later acted in 15 Telugu films and also in a few Tamil and Kannada films as the heroine.

She married the Raja of Mirzapuram (birth name Meka Rangaiah), a Telugu movie producer, and later produced many films herself. She presented Telugu traditional values and ethnic songs in her movies. She produced Mana Desam, a milestone film in the Telugu film industry, in 1949. She introduced popular Telugu actors N. T. Rama Rao and S. V. Ranga Rao and famous playback singerGhantasala as a music director with that film. Since then she had introduced many singers, actors and music directors. She introduced the famous music director Ramesh Naidu with the film Dampatyam in 1957.
